ACRO YOGA PRACTICE JAMS & CLASSES

ACRO YOGA PRACTICE JAMS are low-key, informal gatherings of AcroYogis where we chill out, relax, practice skills, work on new skills, teach each other poses and flows with others. A Jam is a chance for beginners & skilled practitioners to share and play together in a relaxed environment. There will always be a TASTER CLASS of basic poses and techniques at each jam for the newbies - just ask.

ACRO YOGA CLASSES are a formal-structured classes with instructors agenda that will cover warm-ups, poses, and specific-chosen patterns and techniques that will help all levels to build their own practice.

NOTE: ALWAYS CHECK THAT THERE IS A FACEBOOK EVENT BEFORE COMING OUT TO JAMS.

ACRO YOGA JAM: We will practice on our current skills, work on new skills, teach each other poses and flows with others. A Jam is a chance for beginners & skilled practitioners to share and play together in a relaxed environment. There will always be a TASTER CLASS of basic poses and techniques at each jam for the newbies - just ask. Bring towel, mat, blanket, snacks, and water bottles.

SLACKLINE: Slacklining is similar to slack rope walking and tightrope walking. Slacklines differ from tightwires and tightropes in the type of material used and the amount of tension applied during use. Slacklining is popular because of its simplicity and versatility; it can be used in various environments with few components.

YOGA SWING: Enjoy the benefits of yoga, including increased energy and improved mood, while exploring a fun new way to practice. Inversion Therapy can help with an infinite variety of stretches and strengthening maneuvers for the spine. Treat back and neck pain and strengthen your weak areas. Suspension Fitness with an endless repertoire of moves for aerial fitness and suspension strength training.

ACROFIT: AcroFit strengthens the community as we strengthen ourselves by utilizing AcroYoga Skills into strength training, cardio endurance, and flexibility with the partner work AcroYoga is known for. Build smart, toned, and coordinated muscles in a safe, fun & progressive environment.

DANCE AERIALS & LIFTS: Sometimes we team up with local swing dance club for a pop-up class of basic dance aerials and lifts that can be used for performance or just having fun.

CIRCUS ARTS: One of our newest endeavors and funnest addition is bringing the performance arts skills into our practice. Depending on who can make it, people bring their slacklines, yoga swings, silks, Lyra, trapeze, etc. If you got it, bring it -- Let's play together!

FLOW PROPS: Don’t forget to bring your poi, hula hoops, LED hoops, levitation (levi) wands, contact staffs, fans, and all that fun FLOW stuff.

ACRO YOGA ALL-LEVELS CLASS

ACRO YOGA CLASS is a fun community focused activity that builds flexibility, strength, and coordination. This class will focus on Acro poses, transitions, and techniques. Learning the fundamental skills of spotting, flying, and basing will give you a practice that builds on safety, trust, and connection. This is an all-levels class. Prior experience helpful but not required. No partner required, we all support each other in the Acro community.
Requirements: Open heart, Open mind, ability to smile and laugh with others.
Investment: $50 for 5-class punch card or $15 drop in.
